Update 9/17/2020: Neches locations will open their lobbies for full service Monday, September 21, 2020.

All Neches locations will open their lobbies for full service effective Monday, September 21, 2020.  We will continue to follow the guidelines set by Governor Abbot’s Executive Orders.

  • Masks required to enter Neches FCU.
  • Limited capacity maintained in branch lobbies
  • Social Distancing of six feet must be maintained
  • Proper hygiene and sanitation of branches is being enforced
  • Please continue to use drive-thru services for social distancing.

 To avoid public interactions and minimize being exposed to the illness, please take advantage of our 24 hour online services such as our mobile app, home banking, remote deposit, CardValet, surcharge-free ATM’s and our automated teller at 409-729-2255.

Please take advantage of our drive-thru services, night drops for after hour deposits, and online loan and new account applications.

Update 7/17/2020: Temporary Neches FCU branch LOBBY closings. (Drive Thru services running at full capacity).

To all Neches Federal Credit Union Members, family, friends and community,

After closely monitoring information surrounding the Coronavirus and in an effort to keep our members and employees safe, we will be closing Neches FCU lobbies at all of our locations effective July 18th.

All drive thru services will remain running full service in all locations at regular operating hours. All online lending services are up and running at full capacity both at nechesfcu.org and over the phone. All online account opening services are available at nechesfcu.org. Please call us if there is anything that we can help you with.

The following credit union services will still be available in Neches FCU lobbies by appointment only:

  • Mortgage Lending by appointment only
  • Business Lending by appointment only
  • Fraud dispute by appointment only
  • Safe Deposit box by appointment only
  • Instant Issue Debit Cards by appointment only
  • Retirement & Investment Services by appointment only

Update 6/24/2020: All visitors, members and employees must wear a face mask.

It is our responsibility to serve you, and we are committed to keeping both you and our employees’ health and safety a top priority. Neches will continue to monitor recommendations from the CDC, state, and local health and public officials. For this reason, we are requiring that all visitors, members and employees wear a face mask and practice social distancing when visiting our branch lobbies.


Update 5/8/2020: Lobby traffic limited beginning Monday, May 11th.

Beginning Monday, May 11th, Neches will open lobby traffic limited to member service and loan officer requests. All teller traffic will continue to be served through our drive thrus at each location. Each branch will have a greeter at the front door allowing limited capacity foot traffic inside our branches. Please continue to use any of our 24 hour services such as surcharge free ATM's, remote deposit, home banking, and Card Valet.

Update 4/22/2020: Additional extensions available.

In response to COVID-19, Neches automatically deferred all qualifying loans for 30 days for eligible members. No processing fees resulted in this loan deferment and members were able to still make payments if they chose to. No penalties were assessed for taking this benefit.

For additional extensions or Real Estate Deferrals, contact a Neches Team member at 409-722-1174 or 409-860-0800 (Real Estate loans include: mortgage, home equity, home improvement, unimproved property, interim construction, and business real estate).


Update 4/16/2020: Through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program, small businesses can apply for loans for payroll and other eligible expenses.

Small Business Relief Funding

Apply HERE for relief funding through the Paycheck Protection Program. We are referring all requests to Kabbage to help you access critical funds through the federal program. In just a few steps, you can apply online for you business needs. Neches does not administer this website or program.

Kabbage is a complete separate entity from Neches FCU and this referral program is not monitored or controlled by Neches FCU. Neches FCU is not originating, processing, underwriting, or funding these loan requests. Therefore Neches FCU does not guarantee any program funding provided by Kabbage. 


Update 3/30/2020: Neches will automatically defer all qualifying loans for 30 days for eligible members.

In response to COVID-19, Neches will automatically defer all qualifying loans for 30 days for eligible members.  No processing fees will result in this loan deferment and you may continue to make payments to your deferred loans if you choose to.  No penalties will be assessed for taking this benefit.

Credit cards and Real estate loans are NOT being automatically deferred at this time.  In order to apply for a credit card deferment please fill out the form below. 

To apply for a real estate loan deferment please call a loan officer at 409.722.1174 or 409.860.0800.

To check the status of your Neches loans, visit our home banking page or check your account via the Neches FCU app.

The following loans are not subject to automatic deferral:

  • Real Estate loans (including mortgage, home equity, home improvement, unimproved property, interim construction, and business real estate). Call a Neches loan officer for deferment.
  • Credit Cards (Complete the online form below for deferment) *Form has been removed due to updates

The following reasons disqualify members for the automatic deferral:

  • Repossessions
  • Bankruptcy loans
  • Loans that received 90 day no pay and haven’t made a first payment
  • Loans in default over 90 days delinquent
  • Requested COVID-19 deferments and manually processed deferments from the previous two weeks.
